Legal Obligations
If you currently hold or wish to apply for a Standard National or a Standard International Operators licence then you are required by law to have a nominated CPC holder.
An external transport manager can be a more flexible and cost-effective solution for operators with small or medium-sized fleets.
Although restricted operators are not required by law to have a nominated CPC holder, you are still subject to the same laws & regulations which requires extensive knowledge and is seen as good practice to have a qualified CPC holder to oversee & audit your maintenance systems and administration.
